Review Process
All articles submitted to AMIR: Alaztha Journal of Modern Informatics Research will be reviewed in double-blind review method. Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers.

Each article will be reviewed by one to two reviewers in a double-blind process.
Pre-Review Process
The pre-review process is conducted by the Editor-in-Chief and includes the following components:
1. Focus and Scope
The article being submitted must be in accordance with the scope of AMIR Journal. The focus and scope can be viewed here. Articles outside the scope of AMIR Journal will be rejected.
2. Plagiarism Check
Plagiarism check and article similarity are performed using Google Scholar and Turnitin with a maximum score of 15%. Articles with a similarity score above 15% will be returned to the author for revision.
3. References
References used in the article must include a minimum of 10 references consisting of 80% primary sources and 20% secondary sources. References must follow APA Style 7th Edition and be created using reference management software like Mendeley.
4. Template
The submitted article must adhere to the AMIR Journal template. Articles not following the template will be returned to the author for revision.
⏳ Revision Time for Pre-Review
If any of the four components do not meet the requirements, the article will be returned to the author for revision. Authors are given seven (7) days to revise and resubmit the article.
Reviewer Decisions
The reviewer's response will be the basis for the Editor to conclude one of the following decisions:
Accept Submission
The article is accepted for publication without requiring revisions in substance.
AcceptedRevision Required
The article requires minor revisions. Once the author submits the revision, the article can be accepted for publication.
Minor RevisionResubmit for Review
The article requires major revisions. After revision, the article is resubmitted to the reviewer for another round (maximum 3 times).
Major RevisionResubmit Elsewhere
The article is considered less suitable in substance and is suggested to be submitted to another journal.
TransferDecline Submission
The article is rejected by the reviewer for two reasons: (1) reviewer declines due to personal reasons; or (2) the article is considered less suitable for publication in the journal.
RejectedReasons for Rejection
An article may be rejected for publication due to various considerations, including:
- The article does not fit the scope of AMIR Journal
- The article does not follow the writing rules / author guidelines
- There are fundamental methodological errors in the research
- The author refuses to make suggested improvements without logical basis
- There is duplication in publication (submitting to multiple journals simultaneously)
- There are indications of plagiarism exceeding 15%
⏱️ Article Processing Time
Pre-Review Process
The pre-review process takes approximately 7-15 days.
Author Revision (Pre-Review)
Authors are given 1 week to revise the article during the pre-review stage. If the author fails to revise within the time limit without notice, the article will be rejected.
Review Process
The review process is conducted over approximately 2 weeks per round. The number of review rounds depends on the reviewer's recommendations.
Author Revision (Review Stage)
Authors are given 1 week to revise the article based on reviewer feedback. If the revision is not submitted within the time limit without notice, the article will be rejected.
Important Note: If an article has been assessed by an editor or reviewer with "Accepted with Revisions" status but no revisions are made within one (1) month, the author will be subject to sanctions, including blacklisting.
