Manuscript Cancellation

AMIR: Alaztha Journal of Modern Informatics Research is committed to maintaining a fair and efficient publication process. Authors are expected to respect the time and effort invested by editors and reviewers.

Manuscript Cancellation Policy

Authors are not allowed to cancel manuscripts that have been submitted because canceling or withdrawing manuscripts is a futile job (waste of energy and time) done by editors or reviewers.

Cancellation Policy

AMIR: Alaztha Journal of Modern Informatics Research operates a rigorous peer-review process that involves significant time and effort from editors and reviewers. Once a manuscript has been submitted and enters the review process, cancellation or withdrawal is strongly discouraged.

If the author still wishes to cancel the submitted manuscript, the author will be subject to a fine as outlined below. Cancellation will be made by the editor after the author has completed the required procedures.

Cancellation Fine

If the author still wants to cancel the submitted manuscript, the author will be subject to a fine of:

Rp 1.000.000 or 80 USD

 Cancellation Process

  • Cancellation will be made by the editor after the author has made payment and sent proof of payment to the AMIR editor.
  • The author will not be penalized if they can provide appropriate and reasonable reasons for the cancellation.

Note: The editor reserves the right to evaluate the validity of the reasons provided by the author before approving the cancellation request.

Exceptions & Waivers

The cancellation fine will not be imposed if the author can provide valid and reasonable reasons for the cancellation. Acceptable reasons may include:

  • Major errors found in the manuscript after submission
  • Institutional or ethical clearance issues
  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond the author's control

Blacklist Policy

If the author does not agree to pay the fine or provide a valid reason for the cancellation of the manuscript, the author will be blacklisted for publication in:

  • AMIR: Alaztha Journal of Modern Informatics Research
  • All journals under Alaztha Media Publikasi

The blacklist will include the following information:

  • Full name of the author
  • Emails of all authors
  • Author affiliations

Once blacklisted, the author will not be allowed to submit any manuscripts to AMIR or any journals under Alaztha Media Publikasi for a period determined by the editorial board.
