Guideline Author

AMIR: Alaztha Journal of Modern Informatics Research is a journal managed by CV. Alaztha Media Publikasi, which was first published in 2026. AMIR is a scientific journal published online, which publishes articles or scientific works research results in the field of Modern Informatics such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Computer Vision, Expert Systems, Decision Support Systems, Data Mining, Data Science, Computational Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Text and Web Mining, Intelligent Systems, Software Engineering, Information Systems, and other related fields.

AMIR accepts articles written in Indonesian or English, except the title and abstract must be written in dual language (English and Indonesian). Manuscripts written in Indonesian that are declared accepted for publication will be translated into English by the journal team. This policy is implemented to enhance the visibility, reach, and academic impact of the journal on a global scale.

General Guidelines

General guidelines from the AMIR journal consist of:

Article is written as manuscript in MS Word with A4 page size (210 x 297 mm) with left margin of 3.0 cm, top margin of 2.25 cm, right margin of 2.5 cm, and bottom margin of 2.25 cm.
Article is written in single-column format with the simplest possible text layout. It is recommended to only use the writing facilities provided in MS Word (bold, italics, subscript, superscript, equation, etc.) and not to use other facilities outside from MS Word (embedded graphic design, embedded symbols, embedded equations, etc.).
Every part of the text in the manuscript is written using the Mongolian Baiti font with variations of 14pt, 12pt, 11pt, 10pt, and 9pt fonts (complete in special settings as listed in the template), 1.0 spaces with paragraphs after 0 and before 0.
The paper is also accompanied by an Acknowledgment (if any) and is required to describe the Author Bibliography which is completed with a photo.
Title and abstract must be written in dual language (English and Indonesian).
The minimum number of pages is 6 pages of text and a maximum of 11 pages including references and author's bibliography.
The journal contents can be written in Indonesian or English.
References must follow APA Style 7th Edition and it is recommended to use reference management applications such as Mendeley.
At least 80% of references must come from journals/proceedings published in the last 5 years.

Special Instructions

The Manuscript begins with the Title (written in dual language – Indonesian and English), Author's Name, Author's Address / Affiliation, Author's Email, Abstract and Key Words (written in dual language – Indonesian and English) followed by a content section consisting of:

Introduction (Pendahuluan)
Research Methods (Metode Penelitian)
Results and Discussion (Hasil dan Pembahasan)
Conclusions (Kesimpulan)
Acknowledgments (Ucapan Terima Kasih) - if any
References (Daftar Pustaka)

In writing the manuscript, pictures, equations and tables are presented together with the text in the contents section by including the name of figure, the equation number and the name of the table. The serial number and name of the figure are written at the bottom of the image, while the table number and table name are written at the top of the table. Please ensure that the quality and size of the images presented are large enough to produce good print quality.

Title, Author's Name, Affiliation, Email and Correspondence

Title:
- The title of the article is written concisely representing the contents discussed, not long-winded, easy to understand and informative.
- It is recommended not to use abbreviations and equations which are not widely recognized.
- The title consists of a maximum of 15 words and must be written in dual language (Indonesian and English).
- Indonesian title: Mongolian Baiti 14, Bold, Capitalized, Center, 1 space.
- English title: Mongolian Baiti 11, Italic, Center, 1 space.
Author's Name:
- Authors' names are ranked according to the most contribution in the paper, written in full without using an academic degree.
- At the last part of the author's name include a superscript stating the author's serial number.
- Format: Mongolian Baiti 10, Bold, Center, 1 space.
Affiliation:
- Affiliates are written based on the Department or Research Institutions, Faculties or Universities/Colleges, Country.
- Affiliates are allowed more than 1 (one). Superscript is given at the beginning of the affiliation according to the author's serial number.
- Format: Mongolian Baiti 10, Center, 1 space.
Correspondence Email:
- The person responsible and directly related to the editor and to identify official institutions/academic institutions that are affiliated with the author.
- If there is no official email, it is allowed to use standard email (Gmail).
- Written in the lower of affiliation which includes the name of author, Department, Faculty or University, Country.
- Format: Underlined, Mongolian Baiti 10.

Abstract and Key Words

Abstract consists of problems, problem solving and the results of problem solving done. Written in dual language (Indonesian and English) with a font size of Mongolian Baiti 10.
Structure of Abstract:
- Background: Explain the problem, current condition of the system/technology, or phenomenon that is the focus of the research and the reason the research is important.
- Objective: State the research objective.
- Methods: Explain the research design, dataset/research object, method or algorithm used, and testing stages.
- Results: State the implementation, testing, or evaluation results obtained.
- Conclusion: State the key points or main contribution of the research.
Abstract consists of a maximum of 200-250 words including conjunctions and abbreviations.
English abstract: Mongolian Baiti 10, Italic.
Keywords are written in dual language (Indonesian and English) with a font size of Mongolian Baiti 10, sorted alphabetically by ascending A-Z with a minimum of 5 (five) keywords.

Introduction

In the introduction, the following elements are presented:

General overview of the problem or background of the research topic
Supporting data related to the urgency of the problem (statistics, technology trends, preliminary studies, etc.)
Literature review / state of the art and relevant previous research
Research gap to be addressed
Research objectives
Novelty and contribution of the research

References (citations) used must follow the APA Style 7th Edition. The introduction is written using a font size of Mongolian Baiti 11 with 1 space, paragraphs after 0 and before 0.

Research Methodology

In this section, the following elements are presented:

Research Design/Type (quantitative, experimental, system development/RnD, case study, etc.)
Research Object/Dataset (data source, amount of data, data criteria)
Data Collection Techniques
Tools and Materials (hardware, software, programming language, tools/framework used)
Research Stages/System Design (method, algorithm, architecture, or proposed model)
Data Analysis Techniques/Testing Scenarios (e.g., black box testing, confusion matrix, usability testing, etc.)
Ethical Clearance (if the research involves respondents/humans)

It is necessary to convey in detail the research methods used to ensure that the results obtained can be repeated or reproduced. If the manuscript submitted is a development of a model, then it is necessary to submit a description of the proposed model and how the model is evaluated/used. Writing in the method is adjusted to the research theme used, try to use a flowchart to explain the flow of research.

Format: Mongolian Baiti 11, 1 space.

Results and Discussion

In this section, the following elements are presented:

Results of implementation/development of the system, model, or algorithm
Testing and evaluation results (accuracy, performance, usability, etc.)
Analysis and interpretation of results
Comparison with previous research/methods
Advantages and limitations of the proposed system/method
Implications of research results on the field of informatics/information technology

Important: Discussion is not a repetition of the research results, but an in-depth analysis of the findings.

In explaining the research in detail, you can use tables and figures or graphics inserted in the text.

Table: Table number and table name are written at the top of the table. Format: Mongolian Baiti 10.
Figure/Image: Serial number and name of the figure are written at the bottom of the image. Format: Mongolian Baiti 9.
Equation: Written with equation number on the right side.

Conclusion

This section summarizes:

Core summary of research results
Answer to the research objectives
Contributions and suggestions for future research

Acknowledgments (if any)

Acknowledgments addressed to institutions/agencies that have influence/support directly and indirectly involved in research, providing funding, institutions, or parties that provide research data/datasets. Acknowledgments cannot be given to personal/people/mentor etc.

References
