Author Guidelines
Authors submitting manuscripts to Alaztha: Jurnal Kesehatan Nusantara are expected to comply with the following requirements:
- The submitted manuscript must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in another journal or publication medium.
- Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word with the following format:
- Single spacing
- Avenir Book font, size 12 pt
- Left and right margins: 2.5 cm
- Top margin: 3.5 cm; bottom margin: 3 cm
- Manuscript length: 10–12 pages on A4 paper
- Page numbers placed at the bottom right
- Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English and must include a structured abstract of 200–250 words along with 3–5 keywords. The abstract should be placed below the author’s name and contain:
- Background
- Objective
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
- The manuscript structure should consist of:
- Introduction
- Objective
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion and Suggestions
- Acknowledgments
- References
- The author’s full name, without academic titles, should be written below the article title.
- References must follow APA Style 7th Edition using reference management software such as Mendeley. Authors are required to use at least 20 recent references from journals published within the last 5 years, while textbooks should not exceed 10 years from publication.
- Tables should include concise and clear descriptions, with table titles placed above the tables.
- Authors are required to complete online registration to obtain a username and password before submitting manuscripts.
- All submitted articles will undergo a peer-review process conducted by reviewers from outside the journal institution with relevant expertise, as well as review by journal editors. Review results will be communicated through an editor’s decision.
- Articles receiving an “Accept Submission” decision will proceed to the editing stage before being scheduled for publication in a specific volume and issue.
- Unpublished manuscripts will not be returned unless requested by the author.
- Research involving humans or living subjects must include an Ethical Clearance (EC) document.
